Adolfo Aguilar is a renowned Peruvian director, producer, actor, and TV host, recognized as one of the most influential television personalities in Peru. With a dynamic career spanning television, film, and theater, he has captivated audiences through his versatility and charisma.
Aguilar began his journey in the entertainment industry as an actor, excelling in both drama and comedy on television and stage. His passion for performance led him to the United States, where he expanded his career as an actor and commercial model before returning to Peru to establish himself as a household name.
As a TV host, he has led some of the most popular shows in Peruvian television history, including “Yo Soy”, "Tu Cara Me Suena”, “Reinas del Show”, and “¿Cuál es el Verdadero?”. He also served as a judge on “El Artista del Año”, further solidifying his status as a key figure in the entertainment industry.
Beyond television, Aguilar has made significant contributions to the film industry through his production company, where he has both produced and directed successful films. He made his directorial debut with the Peruvian-Mexican romantic comedy “La Peor de Mis Bodas”, featuring renowned actors such as Ricky Tosso and Maricarmen Marín. He later directed “La Paisana Jacinta: En Búsqueda de Wasaberto” and the sequel “La Peor de Mis Bodas 2”.
